This is an example of a brilliantly designed app with a critical flaw. It stores all of your media in full resolution, meaning you are keeping full copies on both your phone (in the photos app) and inside the app. This cuts your overall storage in half.
This app is by far the biggest storage hog on my phone. So much so, I dont think I can continue to use it. I dont have anymore room on my phone to do so.
I really do love the app, but it just isnt sustainable long term without a different storage system. I get the issues with using a referenced storage system where if you delete a photo from the phone you lose it in Momento, but there has to be a medium ground where it references photos until (and if) they are deleted, at which point, it transfers the full image over so you dont lose it from a post.
Until this gets rectified, Im sing Day One, another great app for journaling.
