Nice UI but technically bad

I like the new interface and it was good to see that videos could be uploaded now.
The import from Momento Classic went quite fast and without major data missing.
However all favored locations saved in the old version are not longer available. I need to input them all again.
And there are some features that definitely needs to be improved.
I am not using the iCloud/ Drive functionality for my Photos as I use Fickr for storage. So once you transfer your photos from your device to Flickr the photos in the app will not be displayed anymore.
This is a very crucial feature to me!

In addition if you like to add Photo or a video to an event- this is not possible. And the Supportline is not answering your questions.
That is very annoying.
I would very much appreciate a fix of this features.
